• To craft the BenRiach The Original Ten, the spirit is three cask matured for at least ten years in bourbon barrels, sherry casks and virgin oak casks. The whisky from each cask is then expertly married together to create layers of luscious orchard fruit, sumptuous, honeyed malt and toasted oak, all interwoven with a subtle trace of smoke. PREPARATION

• Though the main focus was on high-quality fruit for export wines as the property was developed, Como Estates fruit is now increasingly sought by wineries supplying both the domestic and international markets. Today the vineyard is regarded as a model vineyard in the region a result of generous expenditure on trellises, wires and other infrastructure, and ground and maintenance programmes that ensure standards are maintained.
