KEY INFORMATION
Kikorangi, meaning sky blue in Maori, is Kpitis king of cheeses. This triple cream blue has a smooth, golden curd and a rich, buttery texture marbled with dense blue veining. This multi-award winning New Zealand legend is guaranteed to invigorate the taste buds. Hand crafted in Eltham, Taranaki, using artisan open vat methods. The process is almost completely hand crafted including, cutting the curd, salting and hand turning.
Kikorangi won the Export Champion Trophy in 2018, and is an absolute winner on any cheeseboard. Pair with Whittakers Buttermilk Chocolate and a medium bodied Chardonnay. Texture - Soft

PREPARATION
Serve at room temperature to allow the cheeses full flavour, aroma and texture to bloom. Remove the cheese from the fridge, place on the platter or board, then cover with a clean damp cloth an hour before serving. After its been opened, re-wrap in cling film or aluminium foil and then place in an airtight container to prevent cross-contamination and drying out.
